A Fountain Valley preschool that lost its lease in August recently relocated to Garden Grove. Special Children’s Connection, a preschool for children of victims of domestic violence and drug addiction, won Garden Grove planning approval to move into a former Montessori school at McFadden Avenue and Ward Street, for about $3,000 a month. The school’s executive director, Regina Markwardt, said she is working to pay about $18,000 in back rent to Rossier Properties, the company that leased the Fountain Valley site.
