The Leisure World French Club donated $1,000 to the new Florence Sylvester Memorial Senior Center, scheduled to open next month. The donation will help with construction of the $1.4-million center, at Moulton Plaza, which will be run by the South County Senior Services. The group has raised about $850,000 for construction.
