* Orange Avenue and Gilbert Street: A report of an abandoned vehicle Nov. 2 at 8:18 p.m.

BREA

* Tonner Canyon Road: Sheriff’s deputies pulled over a vehicle near the Orange Freeway about 9:45 p.m. on Nov. 1.

BUENA PARK

* La Fiesta Drive: Report of indecent exposure Monday at 12:14 p.m. in the 7900 block. Lewd conduct came as man tried to persuade victim to get into his car.

* Academy Drive: Report of stolen bike Monday at 3:23 p.m. in the 8800 block.

* Dale Street and Portulaca Way: Report of drag racing between at least two Hondas on Monday at 7:16 p.m.

COSTA MESA

* Harbor Boulevard: Officers investigated a report of a stolen car in the 2800 block about 6:50 a.m. Nov. 3.

* Bristol Street: Police responded to a call about a forged note in the 3300 block about 11:10 a.m. Nov. 3.

* Harbor Boulevard: A caller complained about a reckless driver in the 2900 block about 12:55 p.m. on Nov. 3.

CYPRESS

* Valley View Street: A suspect was arrested in a golf club theft Nov. 3 at 5:33 p.m. in the 9800 block.

* Tilghman Way: A water tank was reported stolen from a front porch Nov. 4 at 7:04 a.m. in the 11400 block.

* Blue Lantern: Report of a prowler Nov. 2 at 2:28 a.m. in the 33000 block.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Harbor Boulevard: A 39-year-old Huntington Beach man was arrested on outstanding warrants at 5:06 p.m. Thursday after police received a call about a suspicious person parked in front of a store.

* Slater Avenue and Magnolia Street: An 18-year-old woman told police some teens threw eggs at her car at Slater and Magnolia, then did it again at Warner Avenue and Magnolia, Friday about midnight.

FULLERTON

* Associated Road: A blue 1993 Toyota pickup was reported burglarized at 6:35 a.m. Nov. 3 in the 2700 block.

* N. Richman Avenue: A black 1981 Corvette was reported burglarized at 7:52 a.m. Nov. 3 in the 600 block.

GARDEN GROVE

* Katella Avenue and Euclid Street: An armed man and his accomplice robbed a man of $410 at 11 p.m. Nov. 1 at an automated teller machine. One man had a .25-caliber semiautomatic pistol. The other man reached into the victim’s pants pockets and removed the cash.

* Brookhurst Street and Chapman Avenue: Police suspect an elderly man may have suffered a heart attack and died when the car he was driving collided with another car at 6:30 p.m. Friday.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Edinger Avenue: A woman complained that a male waiter hit her and took a menu from her about 3:15 p.m. Thursday. She said the waiter took offense when her fiance complained about the food.

* Atlanta Avenue: A caller reported juveniles skateboarding and making noise in the parking lot of her apartment complex about 4:15 p.m. Thursday. She said none of them live there and a van almost hit one.

* Brookhurst Street: Officers investigating a reported traffic hazard about 5 p.m. Thursday found a man in the street filling balloons.

IRVINE

* Giovanni Aisle: Someone stole a heart-shaped, 18-karat gold ring with diamonds at 7:38 p.m. Thursday.

* Bryan Avenue/Jamboree Road: An elderly driver reportedly drove a car through a guard rail and into a muddy field at 11:09 a.m. Thursday.

LA HABRA

* West Teakwood Avenue: A petty theft was reported at 7:13 a.m. Nov. 3 in the 800 block.

* West Country Hills Drive: A vehicle burglary was reported at 7:37 a.m. Nov. 3 in the 700 block.

* Walker Street: Someone stole a bicycle Nov. 2 from a backyard in the 8400 block.

* Orangethorpe Avenue: A resident reported a loud party, but it turned out to be a married couple watching television at 1:36 a.m. Nov. 3. Police advised the couple to turn down the volume.

LAGUNA BEACH

* Vista de la Luna: Sheriff’s deputies responded twice to a home in the 100 block, following up an earlier call of suspicious activity about 8:30 p.m. Nov. 2.

LAGUNA HILLS

* Ancona: A report of a disturbance at 5 p.m. Nov. 1 in the 22000 block.

LAGUNA NIGUEL

* Crown Valley Parkway: A report of a disturbance at 11:59 a.m. Nov. 3 at Interstate 5.

* La Paz Road: A report of suspicious circumstances at 11:03 a.m. Nov. 3 in the 27000 block.

LAKE FOREST

* A 43-year-old U.S. Navy officer died Monday after being thrown from her motorcycle while riding north on Interstate 5 and being struck by a pickup, police said. Janice Gillespie was on her 1995 Kawasaki near El Toro Road about 9:33 p.m. when she hit a tire, police said. She lost control and was thrown into another lane. Gillespie was stationed in San Diego on the USS Coronado. A 25-year-old San Clemente motorist driving the pickup suffered minor injuries. The accident closed several lanes for hours Monday while authorities cleared the road and investigated.

LOS ALAMITOS

* Los Alamitos Boulevard and Katella Avenue: Police were unable to locate a man recklessly driving a white Chevrolet with the passenger door swinging open at 8:20 a.m. Nov. 4.

* Bunker Hill Drive: Report that a 3 1/2-year-old child was bitten by a dog at 5:38 p.m. Nov. 4.

MISSION VIEJO

* Via Fabricante: A report of a disturbance at 1:56 p.m. Nov. 1 in the 24000 block.

* Barquero Drive: A report of a suspicious circumstances at 12:58 p.m. Nov. 2 in the 24000 block.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Sherington Place: A burglar jumped onto the third-floor balcony of an apartment, entered through a locked screen door and stole several items sometime Nov. 4. The owner told officers a Sega game system, jewelry worth $3,000, a portable phone and compact discs by Barbra Streisand, Mariah Carey and the Carpenters were missing.

* West Balboa Boulevard: Someone hurled a rock through the back window of a car in the 1700 block about 11:30 p.m. Thursday.

* East Coast Highway: A burglar pried a padlock off a vending machine at an Albertsons supermarket, opened the secondary lock with a key and took $125 and eight cases of soda worth $77 sometime during the night of Nov. 4.

* Sea Island Drive: A burglar entered a secured underground garage and broke into a Corvette, a Jaguar and a Chevrolet pickup sometime early Nov. 2, in a case similar to one four nights earlier. The thief took seven sets of golf clubs worth $8,000, prescription glasses and a garage-door opener, among other items, without tripping the car alarms.

ORANGE

* East Silverleaf Avenue: Police responded to a complaint of malicious mischief and vandalism at 5 p.m. Thursday.

* Sierra Madre: A report of shots fired at 3:25 a.m. Nov. 1. Officers found a vehicle with windows smashed but not from shots.

* Tuffree: Report at 4 p.m. Nov. 1 about someone on a dirt bike racing on the street.

SAN CLEMENTE

* El Camino Real North: Report of reckless driving at 1:47 p.m. Nov. 2 in the 700 block.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO

* Valle Road: Report of an abandoned vehicle at 1:46 p.m. Nov. 2.

SANTA ANA

* North Grand Avenue: A 42-year-old Santa Ana man was hit by a car and killed Monday in the 2500 block. Dennis Daley was struck by a car driven by a 28-year-old Garden Grove woman shortly before 6 p.m., Santa Ana Police Lt. Bob Chavez said. Chavez said Daley was crossing mid-block. Daley died hours later at Western Medical Center-Santa Ana.

SEAL BEACH

* Catalina Avenue: A man reported his wife was bitten by a dog about 5 p.m. Nov. 1 in Gum Grove Park. She was scratched and planned to get a tetanus shot.

* Eighth Street: A hit-and-run reported involving damage to a parked Volkswagen Passat at 12:36 p.m. Nov. 1.

STANTON

* Beach Boulevard: Deputies investigated an audible burglar alarm in the 12000 block about 10 a.m. Nov. 1.

* Cedar Street: Deputies responded to a robbery alarm in the 11000 block about 3:35 p.m. Nov. 2.

TUSTIN

* Jamboree Road: An irate customer at Tustin Ranch’s Ralphs grocery store refused to leave and blocked other customers from entering at 5:49 p.m. Monday in the 13300 block. The subject was sent away.

* Newport Avenue/Nisson Road: Witnesses reported a motorist trying to lure two young girls into a white van at 2:30 p.m. Monday. Police were unable to locate the van.

VILLA PARK

* Bixby Circle: A report of a civil dispute at 12:23 p.m. Nov. 2 in the 9000 block.

* Santiago Boulevard: A report of a disturbance at 7:27 a.m. Nov. 2 in the 17000 block.

WESTMINSTER

* Iroquois Road: A 15-year-old was arrested for drug possession at 7:19 p.m. Nov. 3.

* Birchwood Avenue: Three teenagers were reported stealing pumpkins from homes at 6:55 p.m. Nov. 1.

* Candleberry Avenue: The wires to a home’s outside lights were cut and two pumpkins were stolen at 7:51 p.m. Nov. 1.

YORBA LINDA

* Brookmont Drive: Sheriff’s deputies stopped a suspicious vehicle near Brookmont Drive and Fairlynn Boulevard early Nov. 1.

* Journey: A report of robbery with an audible alarm at 9:32 a.m. Nov. 3 in the 100 block.

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA

* La Cincha: A report of a citizen in need of assistance at 4:04 p.m. Nov. 3 in the 100 block.
