IRVINE
Demonstrators at UC Irvine Wednesday protested the treatment of primates in biomedical research, part of a wider action at 15 federally funded research facilities in the United States and Canada. Protesters with Washington-based Coalition to End Primate Experimentation said they were using Veterans Day to oppose the use of “all veterans,” including 111 former Air Force chimps.
