Tutors Needed to Help Pupils Do Homework
The Boys and Girls Club of San Juan Capistrano is seeking volunteers to tutor elementary students in reading and help them with their homework.
Of the 20 to 40 students who regularly attend the organization’s homework club, most are not fluent in English and many are behind in reading, program director Tish Murry said. Volunteers, including high-school students, are needed from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays.
Information: Murry at (949) 489-1389.
