Guns in Chicago
* Re “Chicago Sues Gun Makers and Sellers,” Nov. 13: Chicago banned the possession of handguns in 1983, and yet there are still tens of thousands of handguns in Chicago. Why, when faced with the reality of the abject failure of gun control laws, are people stupid enough to push for even more gun control laws? Chicago is upset that the gun sellers and manufacturers did not honor its blatantly unconstitutional law and so now officials are going to sue. We cannot keep illegal drugs out of our prisons--does anyone really think we will be able to keep guns out of our nation?
