PLACENTIA
Placentia Councilwoman Carol Downey has been awarded a certificate of appreciation for her work on the Orange County Fire Authority board of directors. After serving on the City Council for 12 years, Downey is stepping down Dec. 1. Battalion Chief John Howlind recently presented Downey with a plaque of appreciation for her service as the city’s representative. The Fire Authority provides services to Placentia.
