Safeguard Health Has 13-Cents-a-Share Loss
Safeguard Health Enterprises Inc., an Aliso Viejo health care marketing company, reported a third-quarter net loss of $623,000, or 13 cents a share, compared with net income of $1.3 million, or 27 cents a share, for the like period last year. The results last year included a gain of $3.3 million from the sale of the orthodontic practices unit. Revenue declined 2% to $24 million from $24.5 million.
