Bank Customer Wanted the Buck to Stop There
Edward Aragi had a beef with his bank, so he deposited a different sort of buck to make a point.
Aragi, 70, dragged a dead male deer into a branch of People’s Bank on Tuesday in a dispute over a bounced check. Police say he refused to remove the carcass until the clerical dispute was settled.
“He said he wasn’t satisfied with the service he received so he brought the deer into the bank to get their attention and refused to move it until he got satisfaction,” police Lt. Joseph Falzetti said. “He did end up getting attention.”
Aragi, of Pound Ridge, N.Y., was charged with misdemeanor breach of peace.
