Foster Surprised by Outburst
It’s been almost a week since freshman DeShaun Foster’s breakout four-touchdown performance against USC and he’s still a little surprised by his effort.
“You don’t doubt yourself but I was just hoping for the opportunity,” said Foster, who leads UCLA with 12 touchdowns. “I just wanted to contribute and help out the team any way I could.”
After sitting out two practices this week because of strep throat, Foster should be healthy for the game against Miami on Dec. 5.

Junior offensive tackle Kris Farris, who has been selected to two All-American teams this week, has not given up a sack this season and has a team-high 40 knockdowns.
