UCLA (10-0) remained No. 3 with 1,579 points.

Florida State (11-1) was No. 4 and Ohio State (10-1) was No. 5.

In the USA Today/ESPN coaches’ poll, the top five were Kansas State, Tennessee, UCLA, Florida State and Ohio State.

Notre Dame, which lost to USC, 10-0, Saturday, dropped to No. 16 in both polls. The Irish were No. 9 in the AP poll and No. 10 in the USA Today/ESPN poll.
