Glenn Foley’s injured ribs haven’t healed sufficiently to satisfy New York Jet Coach Bill Parcells, who will turn to Vinny Testaverde again at quarterback.

Parcells said Thursday that Testaverde, who threw four touchdown passes in place of Foley in the Jets’ 44-6 victory over Indianapolis on Sept. 20, would start against Miami on Sunday at East Rutherford, N.J.

“I have a pretty strong degree of uncertainty about Glenn’s ability to execute the offense,” Parcells said. “He’s improved a great deal, but the things I see create an uncertainty on my part.”

Former Tampa Bay wide receiver Horace Copeland’s search for work ended when he signed a two-year contract with the Miami Dolphins.

Copeland, 27, started 11 games last season, his sixth with the Buccaneers, but they released him Aug. 30. He caught 33 passes last season for 431 yards and one touchdown.

To make room for him on the roster, the Dolphins released Kirby Dar Dar, a backup receiver and special teams standout.
