Alyn Corp., Irvine-based producer of metal composite materials, said Udi Toledano resigned Friday as the company’s nonexecutive chairman and is leaving the board. He has been on the board since 1996 and was named chairman in January 1997.
He said he intended only to help the company through its start-up phase. “It’s to make room for directors with industrial backgrounds who can better assist management in guiding the company,” he said in a release.
Toledano said he plans to maintain ownership of his stock in the company, which went public in October 1996. The company said it does not plan to name a new chairman immediately.
