Motorcycle Chase Ends at Police Station’s Door
A motorcyclist who led police on a chase from Anaheim to Long Beach on Wednesday parked in front of the Police Department there, walked to the front door, lay down and waited to be handcuffed.
The pursuit started at 1:26 p.m. in Anaheim when an officer tried to stop two motorcyclists for traffic infractions. They sped off and an ensuing chase lasted about 20 minutes, until they pulled into a shopping center in Buena Park, said Anaheim Police Sgt. Joe Vargas.
One of the motorcyclists went into an Albertsons market, where he was arrested. The other, Ralph Brunt of Bellflower, was wanted for narcotics and traffic violations, He continued on into Los Angeles County, Vargas said.
Brunt told police he had come to Long Beach to talk to his probation officer, Vargas said.
