** Love and Rockets, “Lift,” Red Ant. Love and Rockets continues to plumb its fascination with electronica, spinning music that drones dreamily one moment and erupts in jittery fits the next. The shifting textures and billowy ambience are pleasant enough, but the few truly engaging tracks--mainly “Bad for You” and “Holy Fool” (featuring Luscious Jackson’s Jill Cuniff)--are those that resurrect the smart pop sensibility that once distinguished the group’s music.
