Autumnfest to Feature German Food, Music

A good old-fashioned German bash with extra large beer steins, oompah bands and dancing is planned today as revelers celebrate Autumnfest ’98.
The party is being held from 5 to 9 p.m. at Garden Grove Community Meeting Center, 11300 Stanford Ave., to benefit Acacia Adult Day Services, a nonprofit group that cares for the elderly.
Tickets are $10 to $25 and include a German-style meal, international and microbrewed beers, a silent auction, door prizes and the Autumnfest King and Queen Hofbrau Costume Contest. Information: (714) 530-1566.
