Aliso Niguel 35, Laguna Beach 7--Rich Hada scored touchdowns on interception returns of 45 and 66 yards for Aliso Niguel (2-4, 1-0). Hada scored his first touchdown on Laguna Beach’s first possession. Iman Nikzad then scored on an eight-yard run to give Aliso Niguel a 14-0 lead after the first quarter.

In the third quarter, Hada had a touchdown and Jason Moore scored on 37- and 28-yard receptions for Aliso Niguel (2-4, 1-0).

Costa Mesa 52, Estancia 0--Ricky Martin had three interceptions for Costa Mesa, including returning for 31 yards for a touchdown, giving him a county-leading nine this season.

Martin also scored on a 57-yard touchdown pass from Dave Weir for host Costa Mesa (4-2, 1-0).

Jimmy Herzog, who carried the ball 21 times for 118 yards, also scored two touchdowns on two 21-yard runs.
