Spotlight: Chief of Rockwell Automation Unit Resigns

Rockwell International Corp. said Jodie Glore, president and chief operating officer of its factory automation unit, has resigned to pursue other career opportunities. Glore’s duties are being assumed by Don Davis, the company’s chief executive, until a successor is found “within the month,” said Costa Mesa-based Rockwell, which did not say why Glore resigned or where he would be going, but that the parting was amicable. The automation unit made up 60% of the company’s 1997 revenue of $7.76 billion.
