Diversity Workshops Set for Sunday

The 1998 “Religion and Spirituality” Religious Diversity Faire will take place from noon to 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the UC Irvine Student Center. Speakers representing 19 faith traditions will present 39 workshops including “Native American Spirituality,” “Religion in the Public Schools” and more. Cost is $15. The 10th annual United Interfaith CROP Hunger Walk will take place at 1 p.m. Sunday in Upper Newport Bay beginning and ending at St. Mark Presbyterian Church in Newport Beach. Proceeds will benefit SOS (Share Our Selves), Shelter for the Homeless, Jewish Family Services, Catholic Worker, World Relief and more. There will be live music, games, food and prizes.
