Deputies Plan Meeting on Safety Concerns
Deputies from the Lennox Sheriff’s station will meet with residents Thursday night to discuss public safety concerns in the El Camino Village neighborhood, an unincorporated area near Torrance.
Deputies will share the results of a door-to-door survey of 308 neighbors in which they were asked to rank concerns about drugs, prostitution and gangs, said Sgt. Craig Anderson.
Officials from Supervisor Yvonne Brathwaite Burke’s office will be at the meeting, he said.
The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Alondra Park Auditorium, 3850 W. Manhattan Beach Boulevard.
