A Chicago judge extended an order that Albert Belle stay away from a woman who accused him of hitting her and ripping her phone out of a wall when she tried to call for help.

In July, the White Sox outfielder was ordered to stay away from Stephanie Bugusky. On Thursday, Cook County Judge LaBrenda White extended that order until Belle’s next court date, Sept. 29.

Bugusky, 25, said she had dated Belle for several months.

Belle, who appeared briefly in court Thursday, is accused of damaging a door, a window and telephones in her apartment.
