Minimarket Clerk Reported Missing
Sheriff’s missing persons detectives are looking for a 41-year-old Lancaster woman who was last seen on Tuesday leaving work at a Palmdale minimarket.
Dianca Joy Pollard worked as a clerk at the minimarket at Sierra Highway and Avenue M, according to Deputy Michael Ivring, a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department spokesman.
“Her family said she was a responsible person and that it was out of character to be overdue or not show up without advanced notice or a courtesy call to let them know where she was,” he said. “They’re concerned about her safety and well-being since this is something she’s never done before.”
Pollard is a black woman with short hair, 4-foot-11 with a medium build. She was last seen wearing a red shirt with the am/pm logo and black denim shorts.
Investigators are asking anyone with information on her disappearance to call (213) 890-5500.
