City to Begin Accepting Payment by Credit Cards

Residents will soon be able to use plastic to pay bills for city services.
The City Council has voted unanimously to allow the city’s Finance Department to accept all major credit cards.
The move comes after suggestions from residents who said credit card transactions would improve city service and reduce paperwork at City Hall, city officials said.
