UCI Offers Program for Transfer Students

Registration is underway for UC Irvine’s Transfer Track, a program for community college students seeking a transfer to the university.

The program will be from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Oct. 23 at the Crystal Cove Auditorium in the UCI Student Center. It will include information sessions on admissions requirements, writing personal statements, financial aid, housing and honors and academic programs.

In addition, sessions on preparing for careers in education and medicine will be offered. Campus tours will be available.

The program is open to prospective transfer students in all majors. There is no cost to attend, but parking is $4. Preregistration is recommended. Information: (949) 824-6703.
