Santa Ana Man Slain on Street
A man was shot to death early Saturday in the 300 block of East Street in Santa Ana, police said.
An anonymous call reporting shots fired was made to Santa Ana police at 2:20 a.m.
Marcos Lopez, 22, who also went by the first name Medina, was pronounced dead at the scene, Lt. Robert Helton said. Lopez, who had numerous gang-related tattoos, was shot several times in the upper torso, Helton said.
The police investigation is ongoing.
