An Emmy Winner

In a letter last Saturday, Patty Toy Chung said she dreamed that when her children watch the Emmy telecast celebrating 100 years of television “they will see Asian Americans fully and plentifully represented for their excellence in the media.”
She may not be aware of, and may take comfort in, the fact that an Asian American, Tony To, did receive an Emmy at the 50th celebration for his role as a co-executive producer of the award-winning miniseries “From the Earth to the Moon.”
