18-Year-Old Man Dies After Stabbing

An 18-year-old Pomona man died Monday after being stabbed, police said.
Pomona police found Victor Hernandez lying on the ground in front of a house on the 500 block of West 11th Street shortly before midnight Sunday. Hernandez had been stabbed numerous times in the upper body, said Police Sgt. Elias Valdez.
Hernandez was taken to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center, where he died early Monday.
Police do not have a motive for the stabbing, and have not identified a suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call the detective bureau at (909) 620-2177.
