Water Main Break Blocks Century Boulevard at LAX
LOS ANGELES —
Travelers leaving Los Angeles International Airport on Friday night found a major exit blocked by a broken water main at Century Boulevard and Avion Drive.
Water service to major hotel and other businesses along Century was cut off for a while as Department of Water and Power crews labored to repair the damage.
Traffic that normally leaves the airport on Century was diverted north and south onto Sepulveda Boulevard.
It was not immediately clear what had caused the break.
