Wednesday is carnival day for children at the Community Center. The Recreation & Community Services Department will offer games, rides and prizes for children 12 and younger. Cost is $2 for each child--but adults may enter free. The event runs from 3:30 to 6 p.m. at the Community Center parking lot, 10911 Oak St. Information: (562) 430-1073.
