Helping Hands
Volunteers are needed for Project Caring, a program sponsored by Jewish Family Services of Orange County that provides socialization and cultural experiences, as well as holiday celebrations, for Jewish residents and others at Fairview Developmental Center in Costa Mesa.
Project Caring uses volunteers from community groups, synagogues, schools and other organizations to “adopt” such facilities.
Volunteers are required to attend a training session and undergo tuberculosis testing, fingerprinting and a background check.
