The Planning Commission on Monday recommended installing a traffic circle at Puerta Real and Via Grande in hopes of reducing the number of cars that cut through the Granada neighborhood. But some residents say that isn’t enough and called for a comprehensive plan to solve the problem of cut-through traffic once and for all. In response, commissioners directed city staff to study the possibility of installing more stop signs and other speed deterrents throughout the residential area.
