Dairy Queen, known since the 1940s for its soft ice cream, is adding four more Orange County locations in the next year, raising its franchises here to 28.

Its newest store, the 24th in the county, opened this month in Yorba Linda. It’s the first Dairy Queen in that city.

While the new stores will feature the nostalgic interior decor reminiscent of an old-fashioned ice cream parlor, they will also bow to the calorie-conscious ‘90s by making nutritional guides available to customers.
