SANTA ANA
The Rancho Santiago Community College District is offering assistance to former inmates through its Women in Transition program. The project is funded by the California Community Colleges’ chancellor’s office. Prospective students must complete an application that includes an essay on why they would like to participate.
Once accepted, they are encouraged to attend special sessions in the jail and enroll in college classes upon their release. Information: (714) 564-5342.
