Nas Tops National, Southland Charts

The rapper Nas, hailing from Queensbridge, N.Y., debuts this week atop both the Southern California Top 10 and the national tally of album sales, while another rhymer, Krayzie Bone (of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony), also cracked the Top 5 with first-week sales of his new album. On the singles chart, Mariah Carey’s “I Still Believe” reclaimed the top spot, and the only newcomer to the list was Jordan Knight’s “Give It to You,” at No. 10
