A new tactic to fight those famously long lines at Disney rides? The trade newsletter Travel Management Daily reported that Walt Disney World in Florida is experimenting with a reservations system for popular rides such as Test Track, Space Mountain and Tower of Terror. Disney spokesman Duncan Wardle refused to comment on Disney’s plans--”we don’t comment on tests”-- but acknowledged that someone apparently got into the park and observed a brief trial run of the system. People staying overnight at the park’s hotels already get to dodge lines on certain days by entering the park 1 1/2 hours early or getting after-hours visits to popular attractions.
