The City Council tonight will consider approving a new neighborhood traffic management program. After 10 years of using speed bumps to slow traffic in residential areas, city staff members have developed a plan to use traffic circles and chokers--narrowing of street cross sections--instead. The city traffic commission last year approved the plan and the city staff has recommended the council adopt it. The council meets at 6:30 p.m. at 4845 Casa Loma Ave.
