Security Cameras
Please tell the money-mongering merchants in Huntington Park who insist on putting cameras on Pacific Avenue to ensure crime does not frighten potential shoppers away (April 13) that perhaps the IRS will follow their example and install cameras in their stores to ensure accurate reporting of retail income, or maybe we can install cameras in City Hall to see what our elected officials are doing at all times while on duty.
This is a absolutely an infringement on citizens’ rights and fear of crime is no justification. What happened to good, old-fashioned police work?
