Web-Based Insurer to Host Job Fair

InsWeb, an Internet-based insurance agency, has announced plans to open a customer-service center in Westlake Village and host a job fair to fill an estimated 100 positions.
The job fair will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Westlake Village Inn, 31943 Agoura Road.
Based in Redwood City, InsWeb provides customers with quotes for auto, homeowners, renters and individual health and term life insurance from a variety of insurance providers.
Dubbed the “eCare” center, the company’s Westlake Village facility is expected to open in June.
“The Internet is a great way for people to shop for insurance, but we realize that some customers would occasionally like some help,” said Kevin Keegan, president of the company’s insurance services group. “InsWeb’s eCare center is leveraging the latest technology to allow e-commerce consumers to communicate the way that suits them best.”
