The United States’ roster for the third FIFA Women’s World Cup soccer tournament, which will played in eight U.S. cities June 19-July 10, appears close to being set.

Coach Tony DiCicco sprang no surprises in selecting his players for the next four warmup matches, a pair of two-game series against China and Japan.

The U.S. will play Olympic silver medalist China tonight at Hershey Park Stadium and again Sunday at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.

It then will play Japan at Charlotte, N.C., on April 29 and at Atlanta on May 2.

But even though DiCicco recently brought several new players to the U.S. team’s training camp in Orlando, Fla., none of them are included on the current roster.
