LAGUNA NIGUEL
City Council members this week discussed priorities for the city’s $25-million budget for 1999-2000. The goals range from field maintenance to a lower crime rate. Although they did not come up with a final list, council members reached consensus on three items: looking into buying landslide insurance, moving up the planning of improvements to sports fields at George L. White Elementary School, and finding private sponsors for youth sports fields.
