Bank Hit for Second Time in Weeks
Police are searching for a pair of men who robbed a Fullerton bank Friday--the second heist this month at the branch.
Armed with handguns, the two entered Fullerton Community Bank at Orangethorpe Avenue and Brookhurst Road about 9:48 a.m. and ordered five employees and at least one customer to the ground, Lt. Geoff Spalding said.
The gunmen then took an undisclosed amount of money and the bank’s surveillance tape and fled. No injuries were reported.
Police do not know if the crime is linked to an earlier robbery April 7. A stolen car was found some time later with its engine running and may have been the getaway vehicle, Spalding said.
