ANAHEIM

* East Orangethorpe Avenue: Report of a petty theft in the 80 block at 1:42 p.m. Thursday.

BREA

* Brea Mall: A burglary occurred at 3:16 p.m. Wednesday; a petty theft was committed at 3:29 p.m. Wednesday; and a burglary was reported at 9:32 p.m. Thursday.

BUENA PARK

* Beach Boulevard: Report of a petty theft at a Ralphs supermarket in the 5400 block at 2:11 p.m. Wednesday.

COSTA MESA

* Cadillac Avenue: A car stereo worth $250 was stolen in the 3500 block; reported at 4 p.m. April 18.

CYPRESS

* Valley View Street: Report of a residential burglary in the 6000 block at 12:34 a.m. April 19.

DANA POINT

* Dana Point Harbor Drive: A robbery alarm in the 25000 block was triggered at 12:01 p.m. Tuesday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

FULLERTON

* Associated Road: Report of a residential burglary in the 1900 block at 2:38 p.m. April 19.

GARDEN GROVE

* Knott Street: Police were looking for suspects in a burglary at the Chapman Adult School at 2:15 a.m. Tuesday. Someone removed the glass pane from a door into the computer room and stole at least one computer. Anyone with information is asked to call (714) 741-5707.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Beach Boulevard: Police were looking for an armed man who robbed a restaurant in the 18800 block of an undetermined amount of cash. The man entered the restaurant after 11 p.m. Saturday and asked for the manager. He produced a semiautomatic handgun and forced the manager to open the safe in a back office, then fled on foot. The man is described as white, 20 years old, 6 feet tall and 185 pounds, with a mustache and wearing a black bomber-type jacket and jeans. Anyone with information is asked to call (714) 960-8809.

IRVINE

* Barranca Parkway at Paseo de Westpark: A cellular phone was stolen while its owner was in the pool; reported at 2:17 p.m. April 19.

* Technology West: A computer was stolen from a business; reported at 4:35 p.m. April 19.

LAGUNA BEACH

* Temple Hills Drive: Report of a prowler with a flashlight in the 1800 block at 1:53 a.m. Tuesday. Police were unable to find the suspect.

* North Coast Highway: Police told noisy residents to be quiet in the 1400 block at 1:17 a.m. Tuesday.

LAGUNA HILLS

* El Toro Road at Avenida De La Carlota: The juvenile driver of a Volvo was arrested after ramming into a Ford Explorer following a traffic dispute. There were no injuries and only minor damage to the vehicles. The suspect was released to his parents at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday.

LAGUNA NIGUEL

* Moulton Parkway at Avila Road: A man was arrested at 2:45 a.m. Thursday on suspicion of driving under the influence after a preliminary test registered his blood alcohol level at 0.17%, more than twice the legal limit. A female passenger was also arrested after she urinated in the bushes on the side of the road while the driver was being arrested.

LA HABRA

* North Euclid Street: A warrant arrest was made in the 100 block at 9:20 p.m. April 19.

LAKE FOREST

* Portola Parkway at Lake Forest Boulevard: Deputies pulled over a car with expired registration tags at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday. Deputies suspected the driver was lying about his identity and performed a consent search of his vehicle; they discovered that he had a revoked driver’s license and a felony warrant out for his arrest in Los Angeles. He was arrested on the warrant and on suspicion of falsifying identification and driving on a revoked license.

LA PALMA

* Moody Street: A possible fire alarm was reported going off for 15 minutes near an elementary school at 4:26 a.m. April 19. Police and fire officials investigated, finding not a fire but an activated smoke detector in the trash.

LOS ALAMITOS

* Cerritos Avenue: Report of two female high school students inhaling a substance in the 3600 block at 12:35 p.m. April 19.

MISSION VIEJO

* Via Leon at Alicia Parkway: An abandoned vehicle was found at 4:08 p.m. Tuesday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Poinsettia Avenue: A bench worth $80 was stolen from a home in the 300 block sometime Tuesday evening.

ORANGE

* East Chalynn Circle: An extended family of 12 was homeless after a blaze started by a 6-year-old playing with matches damaged a duplex in the 700 block at 11:50 a.m. Saturday. No one was injured, but one side of the building was destroyed and the other was heavily damaged. Dollar loss was estimated at $70,000 to the building and $40,000 to its contents.

PLACENTIA

* Placentia Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 1800 block at 8 p.m. Thursday.

SAN CLEMENTE

* Avenida Pico: Police arrested a 15-year-old on suspicion of making terrorist threats and possessing a knife at San Clemente High School on Wednesday.

* Avenida Verde: A robbery alarm in the 100 block was triggered at 11:21 a.m. Tuesday.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO

* Avenida De La Vista: A prowler in the 3000 block was reported at 2:23 a.m. Tuesday.

SANTA ANA

* South Main Street: Police were looking for two men wanted in connection with an armed robbery at a shoe store in the 1600 block at 8:17 p.m. Saturday. The robbers escaped with about $550. Anyone with information is asked to call (714) 245-8390.

SEAL BEACH

* Sunset Way: A 42-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving at 12:36 a.m. on April 18.

STANTON

WESTMINSTER

* Westminster Mall: Three women and one man from Mexico were arrested on suspicion of forgery and grand theft at 3:57 p.m. Wednesday. Two of the women are 21 years old, one is 28 and the man is 34.

YORBA LINDA

* Via Mariposa: Report of vandalism in the 5400 block at 10:44 p.m. Thursday.

ALISO VIEJO

* Aliso Creek Road: More than $3,000 was stolen from a safe at a business in the 25000 block; reported at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.

* Aliso Creek Road: Security officers caught an employee with about $700 in stolen jewelry in the 26000 block at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

* Journey: A robbery alarm in the 100 block was triggered at 12:42 p.m. Tuesday.

FOOTHILL RANCH

* Saddleback Ranch Road at Glenn Ranch Road: Deputies responded to an injury traffic accident at 8:32 p.m. Tuesday.
