ANAHEIM
The Police Department and City Atty. Jack White will hold a public workshop at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday on proposed revisions of the city’s ordinance regulating massage parlors. Council members tabled a vote last month, citing the need for more information. City officials developed various versions of the ordinance to deter illicit activity. One version, which eliminates a separate permit for off-site massages, was meant to be more business-friendly. Last month, an attorney for two massage businesses said the proposed regulations put unfair burdens on long-standing and reputable operations. The workshop will be in City Council chambers, 200 S. Anaheim Blvd.
