Patterson’s 2 Goals Spark Zodiac

Steve Patterson scored two goals to help the Zodiac defeat Milwaukee, 3-0, in an A-League soccer game Sunday in Milwaukee.

Eddie Soto also scored a goal for Orange County.

Patterson scored in the second and 82nd minute on similar plays for the Zodiac (12-8). Martin Vasquez set up both goals with passes from the midfield to Patterson, who took the ball in the penalty area, dribbled in, then beat Milwaukee goalkeeper Dan Green with shots to the lower left corner.

Milwaukee is 9-10.
