Retired U. S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Robert D. Springer has been appointed president of NovaLogic Systems Inc., Calabasas, a subsidiary of NovaLogic, which supplies simulation technologies to the defense community.

Springer, who is also a member of NovaLogic’s board of directors, joined the Air Force in 1952 and retired in 1988. He served as vice commander in chief of the Military Airlift Command.

Founded in 1985, NovaLogic is a leading developer and publisher of interactive entertainment software for the PC.

Carl Hartzel has been appointed vice president of business services for IPC, North Hollywood. Hartzel had been a consultant with Ernst & Young.

IPC is a nationwide network of physicians specializing in acute-care management.

Michael La Rocque has been appointed executive vice president and partner, and Lynn La Rocque will become vice president of DAUM Commercial Real Estate Services, Woodland Hills. Both had previously worked for Delphi Business Properties, where La Rocque had been a partner.

DAUM provides a full array of commercial real estate services through offices in Southern California and Arizona.
