The Marina Bridge that connects the city with Long Beach is deteriorating, but a compromise to repair it has been found between the two cities, Mayor Paul Yost said Thursday. The two-lane bridge, which also connects Orange County with Los Angeles County, will keep one lane open in each direction during the repairs, which will take approximately two years, Yost said.
“Access over the bridge during the repairs is important to both cities,” Long Beach council member Frank Colonna said.
