Residents at a city hearing Wednesday said they were concerned about the possible traffic that would be created by a proposed 823-acre commercial development in the northern part of the city.
More than 50 people attended the first of two city hearings on the proposal, which would include a new golf course, public parks and a commercial center. Many of the residents who spoke said they fear bumper-to-bumper traffic on Lambert Road, which would border the southern part of the project.
“Lambert Road and Wildcat Way is already a parking lot around 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. every evening,” resident Michael Patino said.
