As Good as Goldie

Share

I hope after reading your article (“Cookbook Watch,” July 28) that you are not talking about Diana Mott Davidson’s books. Her Goldie Bear culinary mysteries are fun to read, and the recipes usually make me want to run to the kitchen to start cooking. You hate her ex-husband and love Tom, her second husband. Her son is a such a typical kid; one minute you want to hug him and make it better, the next you feel he needs a swift kick in the pants. Her characters are fun to know and you look forward to her parties. Maybe she isn’t Christie, but Davidson’s books are entertaining and inspiring (kitchen-wise), and she has a lot of fans out here.
