Readers Get a Chance to Strike at Umpires
The umpires say that they suffered from unfair practices by not having the stupid move of their resignations undone. At least they’re consistent. They consistently have subjective and arbitrary judgment of when a strike is the right call.

After seeing the picture of Richie Phillips and his trusty doughnut in Monday’s edition, I now know why the umpires selected him as their counsel. They felt that they had to have a leader with a body sculpted “in their own image.”
