Share

T.K. Karvasek toyed with the competition on Saturday night as he easily won both NASCAR Super Stock “twin 25s” in front of 4,543 at Irwindale Speedway.

Karvasek, of North Hills, led all 25 laps in winning the first race. That meant he had to start from the eighth position in the second race. No problem. Karvasek was in the lead after the sixth lap.

Karvasek did have a little competition in the second race. On Lap 14, Steve Gilmore passed him for the lead. Both men swapped the lead on laps 15 and 17. Finally, on lap 18 Karvasek took the lead for good.
